This Privacy Policy outlines Wordtree, LLC’s ("we," "our," or "the Company") practices regarding information collected from users who access our website (“Site"), or share personal information with us ("Users"). 

 

Processing of your personal information (any information that may potentially allow your identification with reasonable means; "Personal Information") is necessary for us to fulfil our contractual obligations towards you and provide you with our services, to protect our legitimate interests, and to comply with our legal and financial regulatory obligations.

 

When you use the Site, you consent to the collection, storage, use, disclosure and other uses of your Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy.

We encourage our Users to carefully read the Privacy Policy and use it to make informed decisions.

We collect two types of data and information from Users.

The first type of information is called Non-personal Information. Non-personal information is un-identified and non-identifiable information about a User(s) which may be made available or gathered when you use the Site. 

When Non-personal information is collected, we are not made aware of the identity of the User it was collected from. Non-personal Information may include your aggregated usage information and technical information transmitted by your device, including certain software and hardware information, for example the type of browser and operating system your device uses, language preference, access time, etc. We may also collect information on your activity on the Site, like pages viewed, online browsing, clicks, actions, etc. Non-personal information is collected in order to enhance the functionality of our Site.

• Device Information: We collect Personal Information from your device. Such information includes geolocation data, IP address, unique identifiers (e.g. MAC address and UUID) and other information which relates to your activity through the Site.
• Contact Information: We collect information you supply voluntarily when you fill out a contact form, schedule a call, or request a service. When this happens, we collect only the information we need to fulfill the request; this is generally but not limited to your name, email address, and phone number.
• Registration information: When you register to our Site you will be asked to provide us certain details such as: full name; e-mail or physical address, and other information.  

Note: If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

 

How We Collect Information 

• We receive your Personal Information from various sources:
• When you voluntarily provide us your personal details in order to register on our Site or fill out a contact form;
• When you use or access our Site in connection with your use of our services;
• When you leave a comment on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the User’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. • From third party providers, services and public registers (for example, traffic analytics vendors).

We take your privacy seriously, and although no site can completely guarantee privacy, we take all reasonable steps to ensure your personal information is kept private and secure.

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We will not rent, sell, or share Users’ information with third parties except as described in this Privacy Policy.

Our site does link to third party sites such as Eventbrite for the purchase of event tickets; anyone purchasing a ticket through a third party is subject to the privacy policies and protected by the security measures of that party. Wordtree, LLC is not responsible for any action or issue arising from a site owned by another party, and does not see or store any personal financial information. We will have access to your name and email address, which we may use to communicate with you about the event for which you’ve purchased a ticket. You can see Eventbrite’s privacy policy here.

When you purchase a service from Wordtree, LLC we use Intuit QuickBooks to invoice you and collect personal financial information. We do not see or store that information anywhere other than QuickBooks. You can see Intuit QuickBook’s privacy policy here.

We may use the information for the following:

• Responding to you regarding the reason you contacted us;
• Communicating with you – sending you notices regarding our services, providing you with technical information and responding to any customer service issue you may have;
• To communicate with you and to keep you informed of our latest updates and services;

• To market our websites and products (see more under "Marketing"); 
• Conducting statistical and analytical purposes, intended to improve the Site.

From time-to-time our site requests information via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and you may choose whether or not to participate and therefore disclose this information. Our site contains a Constant Contact Sign Up form that transfers your data to Constant Contact to add you to our newsletter. When you sign up for our newsletter, you are protected by security features including double opt-in and the ability to unsubscribe at any time.

The sign-up form on our website itself does not set any cookies.

 

This site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the User has visited the other website.
